SWEET SENIOR ALERT!! Blue is in search of her last forever home. She has been loved for 11 years and now finds herself searching for a new family because her person recently became very ill and can no longer care for her. Will you be her new forever person? Blue loves people of all ages. She lived with an infant and just wanted to play. She can start off a bit nervous with people she hasn't met, but warms up quickly. Although Blue is 50lbs, she believes she is a lap dog and that is her preferred spot, unless she's out playing fetch with her toys. Blue is eager to please and enjoys showing people she can "sit" and "stay" on command. She's obedient and affectionate and always up for a car ride. She has always been the only pet in the home and has never really interacted with other dogs or cats, so that is a bit of an unknown. When Blue is home alone, though, she enjoys spending her "me" time on the couch waiting patiently for her people to come home while grazing on food throughout the day. Her ideal forever home is one with a fenced yard so she can spend her time lounging free, as well as enjoying a stroll with her person throughout the neighborhood and accepting well deserved treats.
